Brief Profile:

DR. MD. MERAJUL ISLAM has completed Bachelor (B.Sc.(Hons.) Chemistry) and Master (M. Sc. Chemistry) degrees from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, Delhi in 2005 and 2007, respectively and Ph.D. degree in 2013 from Chemistry department, University of Delhi, Delhi. After that, he joined Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi for post doctoral research in 2013 and worked there upto 2018. He taught as a Guest lecturer at Kirori Mal College from 2017 to 2020. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor Chemistry department, IIMT University, Meerut, Utter Pradesh and involved in teaching & research activities of UG & PG Chemistry courses offered by the Chemistry department, SoBST, IIMT, University. His research areas are Electrochemistry, Photocatalysis and Sustainable Energy, Water splitting & Hydrogen production, CO2 reduction into value added fuels.
